Greenduct
Here at Custom Air Conditioning, we like to make sure that we are giving our customers the best possible options for their air conditioning needs, this includes having the option of using Greenduct for either you duct upgrade or new installation.
Greenduct is a mechanically locked duct that is both designed and manufactures in Australia to suit Australian conditions.
The main benefits of green duct include:
- Being a mechanically locked duct, the core does not rely on glue to stay together providing strength and stability
- Has a thicker insulation – from 80mm to 120mm compared to standard duct which is 17mm to 40mm
- up to 175% more thermal efficient then standard duct on the market
- tested and complies with the following Australian Standards:
- (AS)-4254
- (AS)-4859.1
- (AS)—1530.3
With the above benefits that come with the Green Duct, this will also assist in the lowering of running costs, reduce operating times to prolong the life of the unit and assist in helping achieve the desired temperature levels faster.
